Assistant Principal

Mrs. Judy Casstevens

My name is Judy Casstevens and I am ecstatic to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Woodlake Elementary.  I come to you with 24 years of experience with 19 of those being right here in Judson ISD.  I am currently finishing out my 4^th year at Hopkins Elementary where I serve as the academic coach.  Prior to Hopkins, I spent 12 years at Olympia Elementary, 3 years at Coronado Village Elementary, and my first 5 years in South San ISD.  Other than academic coach, my roles as an educator include 13 years as a classroom teacher, 2 years as a reading specialist, 2 years as an RTI teacher, and 3 years as an RTI facilitator.  

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time camping and anywhere on the water with my husband of 13 years, Brandon.  As a blended family, we share 2 sons and a daughter.  The last of our 3 has just graduated from high school 😊.

As mentioned earlier, I couldn’t be happier to join the Woodlake family.  The leadership team at Woodlake both currently and previously have an impeccable reputation throughout this district.  I am fortunate to be joining this team and look forward to learning and growing from each and every one of you.  I look forward to meeting you all.
